Description
It is used with a proper diet and exercise program and possibly with other medications to control high blood sugar. It is used in patients with type 2 diabetes. It is also use in the treatment of PCOS and in weight loss regimen.
Side Effects
Headache, abdominal bloating, anorexia, diarrhea, flatulance, metallic taste.
When not to use
It is contraindicated in patients with CHF, Chronic metabolic acidosis.
