Description

It is used for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with glaucoma or ocular hypertension who require adjunctive or replacement therapy because of inadequately controlled IOP.

Side Effects

Allergic conjunctivitis, burning sensation of eyes, conjunctival hyperemia, eye pruritus, follicular conjunctivitis, stinging of eyes

When not to use

Known hypersensitivity to brimonidine or any component of the formulation; neonates, infants, and children younger than 2 years.
