Description
It is used for the short-term relief of symptoms of excessive anxiety.
Side Effects
Bowel irritability,dizziness, excessive daytime sleepiness,fatigue,headaches,increased appetite
When not to use
Do not take bromazepam if you: are allergic to bromazepam or any ingredients of the medication, are allergic to any other benzodiazepines, have myasthenia gravis, have narrow angle glaucoma, have severe breathing difficulties, have severe liver disease, have sleep apnea.

There may be an interaction between bromazepam and any of the following: antihistamines (e.g,. cetirizine, doxylamine, diphenhydramine, hydroxyzine, loratadine), antipsychotics (e.g., chlorpromazine, clozapine, haloperidol, olanzapine, quetiapine, risperidone), aprepitant, “azole” antifungals (e.g., itraconazole, ketoconazole, voriconazole), muscle relaxants (e.g., cyclobenzaprine, methocarbamol, orphenadrine), narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine, fentanyl, morphine, oxycodone).
