Description
Acts as a bronchodilator, cough suppressant, expectorant, mucolytic and spasmolytic agent. Relieves chest congestion, soothes the mucus membrane of bronchial walls and restores normal breathing. Acts as an antitussive and has a soothing effect on sore throat.
Side Effects:
Nausea, vomiting, dizziness, abdominal and epigastric pain.
When not to use:
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug.
Precaution
- Donot use if you have allergy from ivy leaf .
- Donot exceed the recommended dose.
- If dyspnea, fever or purulent sputum occrs, consult your doctor.
- In case of a missed dose, donot double the dose.
